Withings
Smart scales, blood pressure monitors, and sleep tracking from Withings
Overview
Sync body composition from Withings smart scales (weight, body fat, muscle mass, bone mass, water percentage, visceral fat), blood pressure readings with pulse, and detailed sleep stage data with respiratory metrics.
How the integration works
Omnio connects to the Withings Health Mate cloud via OAuth2 against the public Withings API. A polling worker checks for new measurements roughly every two hours and a webhook channel is used for supported data types so weigh-ins and blood-pressure readings usually land within minutes of your device syncing. On first connect Omnio backfills your full Withings history so weight, body-fat and blood-pressure trends are visible from day one. The integration maps scale data (weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, bone mass, water percentage, visceral fat) computed by Withings' bioimpedance analysis, systolic, diastolic and pulse readings from BPM Connect and BPM Core, and sleep sessions with stages, respiratory rate and skin temperature from the Sleep Analyzer mat. Supported devices include the Body, Body+ and Body Comp scales, BPM Connect and BPM Core, the Sleep Analyzer, and ScanWatch where exposed by the API.
What Omnio adds on top of Withings
The Withings Health Mate app stores your scale and cuff data well, but it doesn't cross-reference those readings against training load, nutrition, or a DEXA ground-truth. Omnio's biggest differentiator here is reconciliation: it plots every Withings scale reading alongside your imported DEXA scans so you can see where bioimpedance drifts from the gold standard — smart scales commonly under- or over-state fat percentage by a few points versus DEXA, and that gap shows up directly in Omnio instead of being hidden behind two different apps. Omnio also correlates blood pressure from BPM Connect against your sleep quality, caffeine timing and alcohol logs, and overlays weight trends with training volume and calorie balance so you can see whether the scale is moving because of fat change, water shift, or glycogen. For people tracking heart or metabolic health, this is the context Withings Health Mate can't provide on its own because it simply doesn't hold the rest of your data.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What data does Omnio sync from Withings?
- Omnio syncs body composition from smart scales (weight, body fat, muscle mass, bone mass, water percentage, visceral fat), blood pressure readings with pulse, and detailed sleep stage data with respiratory metrics.
- How often does Withings data sync?
- Omnio polls your Withings Health Mate account every 2 hours to pull new measurements from your connected Withings devices.
- Which Withings devices are supported?
- Omnio supports Withings smart scales (Body, Body+, Body Comp), blood pressure monitors (BPM Connect, BPM Core), and sleep trackers (Sleep Analyzer).
- How does Omnio compare to Withings Health Mate?
- Health Mate shows your Withings device data alone. Omnio combines your scale readings and blood pressure with wearable, nutrition, and lab data to reveal how body composition tracks with training and diet changes.
- Can I track body composition trends alongside training?
- Yes. Omnio overlays Withings body composition (weight, body fat, muscle mass) with your training load, nutrition, and recovery data to show how your body responds to program changes over time.
- Does Omnio support Withings blood pressure monitors?
- Yes. Omnio syncs systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings from Withings BPM Connect and BPM Core, tracking trends alongside your other health data.
